Hi! I'm J. J. Hanna
Like you, I've dreamt of being a writer my whole life. That dream lead me to Taylor University where I got a Bachelor of Science degree in Professional Writing–which is a fancy way to say I learned grammar, publishing, nonfiction, fiction, social media usage, and everything in between.
It also taught me that getting from where I was to where I needed to be to get a book published was going to be a lot of work—and I wanted to do it all!
The problem was that I didn't have time to do it all. I wanted a platform that could keep growing and keep building when I wasn't at my computer, when things went wrong, and when things went right and I needed that valuable time for something else.
So that's what I built.
I'm now taking what I learned and turning it into a school for you, launching my course Platform 101: How to Be Discovered and Grow an Online Following, where I'm super excited to teach you everything I know about creating a platform that runs and grows on its own so you can get back to what really matters: living your life and writing your books without getting behind, even when tragedy or blessings strike out of nowhere.
How to Grow a Platform that Works for You
I know it's a lot to take in, but I want to take you from square one--having no platform at all--all the way to having a platform that is growing organically with very limited involvement from you to help you achieve your dreams while you sleep.
(I know that sounds too good to be true, but I promise you it works—I have a list of fans who discovered my platform while I slept through the night.)
We'll cover everything from my secret formula for going viral to what types of platforms you need to meet your needs and the needs of your audience, not to mention how you even decide which of the many, many options out there you need.
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3:
gain access to my brand kit
Every company, every person, every account has a brand or is part of a brand. This course has a brand. I'll teach you how to make your own brand to be your guide as you prepare to take on the world.
learn who you want to reach
Your audience is far more specific than "adults over 20" and far less niche than "people who read [insert unknown author here]". I'm going to teach you how to define your audience in a way that actually lets you reach your people.
make tailored content
This is the part everyone focuses on. But it's not just about putting stuff out. It's about putting the right stuff out, on the right channels. And I can help you decide which social platform(s) you need, what content you should focus on, and what your schedule needs to be.
